Jack before going through metamorphosis had brown eyes but after becoming a butterfly his eyes became a teal-ish color he also lost right eye completely.

Jack is a very sweet and very humble

Jack is Oliver's best friend when Jack found out that Oliver was visiting the surface world to see a girl that couldn't see him he gave the girl his eye before falling in to metamorphosis. When he became a butterfly most of his memory was fuzzy so he couldn't remember what happened to his right eye.
